Well I don't know about the rest of you gamers out there but right now I am HATING BLIZZARD.
I will admit it I am a bit of a WOW addict. Not as bad as some but I do really enjoy playing. I enjoy my guild. They kind of my social life at the moment. During the warm months my time is spent on horseback enjoying the great outdoors. Now that it is dark by the time hubby gets home my horse time is limited. Plus I will admit it I need new cold weather gear and I am not fond of the cold either.
The downtime of the last two days is really pissing me off. PERIOD. I am paying $30 a month for two accounts which can not be used. While on the forums I keep reading "Oh it works out to .02 per hour" Well folks some of us aren't 300lb losers living in our parents basement. We work jobs, have families, and other responsibilties. We have small windows in which we get to play WoW.
I am sorry but this company has been planning the expansion for how long. Tonight the WOTLK comes out and they can't keep the realms up. Oh I see nightmares the next two weeks. Anyone who thinks things are going to go smoothly needs to look at the record of reliabilty from the last two weeks.
I will be highly surprised if realms are up in time for the midnight launch tonight. To be completely honest not really too excited about the WOTLK. We will be picking up our copy Friday morning. We had other bills that came first, (ie kids gotta eat) and I reuse to spen every last red cent in my bank account.
Well folks I have to get back to my life at the moment.
